“Patricia is just not typical.  Prompt, smart, and reliable, she is a trusted counselor who actually puts your interests ahead of hers.  She has helped us think through our needs, not just react.  How refreshing, and how helpful.  And the results have been outstanding, including the recent addition of a top-notch partner who is heading up one of our great new litigation practices.”

Our goal is to thoroughly and meticulously identify the top candidates for a position. Our process saves our clients valuable time and resources, while at the same time working to find talent to enhance their practice or business.

Listening is our number one goal when discussing needs with clients. We listen carefully to the details of the position they are seeking to fill, as well as the specific skill sets required of the candidates. It is also of utmost importance for us to learn more specific detail about the firm, such as the expectations of the practice group leaders or general counsel, as well as the culture within the firm or company.

Once we receive a formal job description, we begin the process of carefully researching and targeting ideal candidates, both within the market and within our own database of top quality legal professionals. We begin the recruit process and obtain in depth interviews from all candidates. The confidences of the client are insured throughout this process. We make sure to take into account the skill set and experience of the candidate, as well as their intangible assets, such as personality, drive and adaptability. From there, our list dwindles to all but the top qualified candidates for the position. Finally, we are ready to produce results to our clients.

We provide two options:

Retained search is an exclusive agreement between us and the client in which we expedite the process and capitalize on our resources in order to identify and present elite candidates. Any candidates presented to the client in a retained search will not be presented to other clients during the process. In general, 1/3 of the fee is required initially to begin a retained search, 1/3 of the fee is paid upon interview of the elite candidates and the final 1/3 is paid upon the hiring of a presented candidate.  Many of our clients use the retained search in order to ensure that their search is priority and the most elite talent is exclusive to them. It is ideal when working to attain partner level or general counsel level candidates. It is also ideal when looking for very specific types of associate level candidates.

Contingency search is an agreement between us and the client in order to identify and present the top legal talent.
Under a contingency agreement, the client must agree to the terms in writing prior to the search and the presentation of any candidates. If a presented candidate is placed with the client, the fee will be paid in full. If the client does not choose
to hire any of the presented candidates, no fee will be charged.  Many clients use this search when searching for
associate level candidates.
